Located in the community of Leawood, this outdoor kitchen project provides all of the elements necessary to entertain out-of-doors with the convenience and look of its indoor counter-part. Design features include; prep, cooking, serving and seating areas which utilize 2 1/8” concrete countertops, and cabinet facing finishes of stone, brick and stucco. A unique look that mirrors its surroundings.
PROJECT START
From a basic concrete patio, a pergola was constructed, utilities stubbed, and a concrete cap poured before our kitchen can be constructed.
FRAMING
Our framing process is all done on site to insure cabinetry is square, plum, level and fits the space as intended. In addition many of the utilities are placed within the framework for concealment and convenience for future accessibility.
BOXING
Once framed our substrate is applied which provides additional strength and a solid backdrop for adhesion of finish materials.
COUNTERTOP FINISH
Nothing says quality more than the finish on our outdoor kitchens. This project utilized a 2 1/8” concrete counter top with a chiseled edge. This material provides a durable and solid surface for outdoor use and is easily maintained.
CABINET FACING / FINISH
Included within the final finish materials is brick, utilized on the floor and horizontal back splash, stone on all outside walls and post raps, and stucco for the inside cabinet facings. Porcelain tile was used for the toe kick and vertical backsplash to finish out the cabinetry.

Richly appointed utilizing the same materials brought out in this homes exterior finish, this outdoor kitchen will become the common gathering spot for family and friends to enjoy the outdoors in an elegant yet casual venue. Included is a smoker oven, double side burner, gas grill, outdoor refrigerator and counter top accessible utility trash receptacle.
With bar seating and plenty room to add tables and chairs the home owners are ready for entertaining “Designer Outdoor Kitchens Style.”
